I stayed in Krabi for 3 nights, and I stayed at different hotels each one of those night! Each of them are at a different price points and suited for different kinds of travelers/ travel purpose. I definitely recommend all of them to stay at if you are visiting Ao nang, Krabi. If you are wondering where to stay in Krabi then keep reading.
I also recommend staying in Aonang as it offer many options for things to do and various day trips to other islands.
#1. Aonang Fiore Resort ; Alright, this was a 5 star resort and it was just heavenly! Beaaaauutiful well kept grounds, beautiful infinity pool overlooking palm trees and the mountains, private bungalows with private terraces in the front. They even have balcony Jacuzzi rooms if you’re looking to spice up things even more (for you honeymooners!). They provide luxurious robes and slippers in all rooms (which we essentially lived in). Keep in mind that this resort is on a hill so there is a pretty steep walk up to your bungalow from the lobby. That being said, they do provide golf cart rides to your room upon request and we never found it an issue. This resort is around 2KM away from the beach. You can either take the hotel’s free shuttle down or take a quick tuk tuk/taxi for around 100 baht. This hotel costed us ~ $150 CAD for a night, including breakfast which was pretty decent. Considering it’s a 5 star resort, that price is really reasonable! We paid $400 baht to get here after landing in Krabi Airport. P.S. if you book through the hotel’s website you will get early check-in at 10AM and late checkout at 1PM. Click here for their website. This hotel is definitely one of the best places I’ve stayed at.
#2. Sugar Marina Cliffhanger Hotel ; Although this hotel isn’t a 5 start resort like the previous one, it’s still verrryy nice and modern. This hotel just recently opened up in February so everything is brand new, hence why you can’t really find reviews for it online. it’s price point is amazing for what it provides. It costed us ~$70 CAD for a night (2 queen beds). They even provide robes in the room. We had a pool view room that had direct access to the pool from our balcony. The beds were super comfortable and the room was beautifully decorated.
#3. Marina Express Fisherman Hotel; this was even a cheaper than option #2. We paid around ~$58 CAD for one night and the beds were just as comfortable. The decor of this hotel is rustic/bohemian so it was very nice and just like the pictures. The location of this hotel is great, only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. (it’s only a 2 minute walk from the previous hotel, Sugar Marina Cliffhanger). There are also tons of restaurants and shops right along the road of this hotel. P.S. you can take a ride in a share minivan to the airport for 150 Baht/person. You can arrange this at any of the day tour selling kiosks along the road.
